Yes, it has been quite a a while since I last updated this blog. I just realized that I missed doing the work it takes to publish this thing.
As you have no doubt noticed, the site is in a state of development. It will be constantly changing while I try out a few new tricks. I hope to have things running smoothly in the near future. So, keep checking back for the latest.

Bob Olsen is retired from a career in commercial radio broadcasting where he worked as an announcer, on-air personality, program director and consultant. Over a rwenty year period he worked at stations: KECC, WLRC, WQDC, WSVC, WBCM, WTRX and WFDF.
Bob is a re-tread ham. First licensed as a Novice in 1967, his original call sign was WN8YHT.
Bob served seven terms as the Chairperson of the Genesee County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, Incorporated (GCARES) Board of Directors and was their Director of Special Projects for ten years. GCARES was a 501(c)(3), tax exempt, not-for-profit, organization founded in 1978 by local Federal Communications Commission licensed Amateur Radio operators.
He has held the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Appointments of: Assistant Emergency Coordinator, Emergency Station and others. His responses with the Amateur Radio Emergency Service organization and the National Weather Service led to his being honored by the City of Burton, MI and the Michigan State Police.
